Krishna Shroff On Being Asked About Her Bollywood Plans: ‘It’s Literally The Most Annoying Question As People Don’t Realise There Is So Much More To Life Than Bollywood’- EXCLUSIVE
Krishna Shroff shares how it annoys her when she is repetitively asked about her acting plans and why it is still a stern no from her side for acting
Fitness expert Krishna Shroff has seen two film stars emerge from her own household. She grew up watching the stardom of her father Jackie Shroff and at this age, she is seeing her brother Tiger Shroff climb the ladder of success. However, Krishna never felt tempted to choose the same path for herself.
Whenever asked if she had any acting plans, Krishna always said a firm ‘no’. Ask her the reason behind that firmness and she shares, “Honestly, the acting bug that people talk about, it never really bit me. I don’t look back at any of the offers I said no to and regret it. I am very much content with the path that I have chosen. I always wanted to break the norm and do my own thing. I wanted to steer away from what people expect of me and shock the world. I always say that fitness is definitely the present but also the future. It’s booming, not only in India, but globally and if you can help motivate and inspire kids in your country, it’s such a great gift.”
Recently, Krishna was felicitated with an award for her fitness journey, and after winning that award, Krishna posted a story on Instagram saying, “Hopefully I’ll stop getting ‘HeRoInE nAhIn BaNa ChAhAtI hAi KyA???’ now. It’s still a no from me… Kthx.” Bring that up with Krishna and she says, “I wrote that for a reason. I don’t say much on Instagram as usually captions are just emojis, but I had to write this.”
Ask her about how it feels when she is repetitively asked about her Bollywood plans, considering her lineage and she sighs. “It’s literally the most annoying question as people don’t realise that there is so much more to the world and life than Bollywood. Yes, my family is successful here but that doesn’t mean I also have to be here. It’s a weird mentality that people have. I feel I am doing a pretty good job in breaking that stereotype,” she concludes.
